Clearview Software to Reveal Highly-Anticipated Clearview™ 4 at AIIM 2007

Clearview Software, pioneers of the fresh, new approach to Enterprise Content Management (ECM), announced today that they will be exhibiting at the AIIM 2007 Conference & Expo from April 17 through April 19, 2007 in Boston, Massachusetts. At the event, Clearview will debut their latest product innovation, Clearview 4, in both the Clearview Software booth (#2658), and the Microsoft® Partner Pavilion as an official Microsoft ECM Partner. Clearview has also been invited to present in the Microsoft Solution Theatre during the exposition.

Clearview 4 dramatically changes the way businesses and organizations use, manage, and deploy ECM. Uniquely designed by a team of successful industry veterans to easily adapt to any company, agency, or organization’s business requirements, Clearview provides a robust administration, audit, and reporting console. Combined with a simplified yet elegant end user experience, Clearview has been designed to promote widespread adoption across the business enterprise, providing unparalleled business value.

“We are very excited to launch Clearview 4 at AIIM 2007,” said Ken Creech, Chief Technology Officer at Clearview Software. “Our modern technology innovation leveraging the Microsoft 2007 product announcements places Clearview in an advanced class of ECM technology application and deployment. Our commitment and dedication to Microsoft as a platform for our next-generation solution really pays off for our Customers and Partners as Microsoft rolls out SharePoint® Server 2007 and Office 2007. Clearview will continue to provide new levels of functionality along with higher value by carefully and strategically leveraging the Microsoft technology and application platforms.”

As the first solution to bring enterprise-class features and functionality into the mid-market, Clearview 4 delivers a rich set of ECM functionality that is highly extensible. Document imaging, document management, report management, workflow, retention services, email management, and records management are bundled into a simplified packaging and deployment concept. Technically, Clearview 4 is the first ECM solution built 100% on modern technological standards such as Microsoft .NET, SharePoint Server 2007, Office 2007, SQL Server 2005, XML, SOA, and Web Services architecture.

Of particular interest, Clearview 4 creates a virtual enterprise repository designed to federate, aggregate, and enhance the organization with multiple SharePoint sites, or third party content or document repositories. Furthermore, with the simple-to-use, intuitive Clearview desktop experience, information workers can easily gain security-controlled access to all content and information across the enterprise. This level of content federation and organization has never been available before in the mid-market.

Adopting the Office 2007 user experience, information workers can interact with the Clearview 4 solution through a full-featured, Windows rich, Clearview Client; the thin, easy-to-implement Web Client; or the intriguing new Clearview IRISS Desktop Gadget. The IRISS Desktop Gadget is a brand new Windows Vista inspired mini-application that delivers a revolutionary user experience for instant retrieval, or storage of, business information and content directly from the user desktop.
